What Mark Swaim is most passionate about is his love for science, with Physics as his particular focus. As a loving father to his young sons Johnny and Jimmy, he always strives to show them the wonders of science and how it has shaped the world around them. Some of his favorite topics to share and discuss with them is the Theory of Relativity, the life of Albert Einstein, black holes, and numerous other fascinating aspects of space. It’s a dedication and love of science that spills over to his students, who also enthusiastically anticipate how genuinely joyful he is to teach the subject matter to them.

It’s always been science for Mark Swaim. Having grown up at a small Texas town within walking distance of the library, he had, early on, had a love for reading and devouring knowledge. Growing up, he has always excelled in science with a voracious appetite for more, particularly exploits into space. He has taken numerous trips to the Aerospace Museum in DC and had taken part in Space Camp during childhood. Now, he focuses his energies on discovering more amazing facts, equations, topics, and insights into space and physics, so he may continue to share this information with his family and students.
